Holly Keen

Head of Human Resources & Quality Control

Holly has been working within office environments since 2003 in roles ranging from General Administration & Management to HR & Quality Control.

Since starting her career in administration, after leaving school, Holly has worked in different industries for companies of different sizes, giving her a broad understanding of how different businesses work.  Holly discovered her passion for Human Resources while working at an international skills brokerage as the Student Liaison Officer.  It was here that she completed her Certificate in Personnel Practise to Merit Level. Holly gradually progressed to more senior administration roles which included HR responsibilities. She was then head hunted by a pharmaceutical quality assurance company, where she was responsible for all general office management and HR. This is where Holly gained her knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management.

In September 2008 Holly joined Matrix ICT Services with the view to work alongside the leadership and management team to achieve both ISO 9001 and Investors in People. She has helped bring structure and good practice in both areas at Matrix and we are now well on the way to achieving both standards. Holly was inspired by Charlie Bennett’s motivation and dedication to the education sector when she attended her interview. Due to the bad experience of education she had when she was in school Matrix was the organisation she wanted to work for. Sharing the same morals, values and expectations as Charlie Bennett and the rest of the management has helped to structure the current Matrix success.

In her time at Matrix Holly has worked closely alongside Charlie Bennett to create the organisational vision, sound embedded values and organisational/departmental objectives, giving Matrix a sense of direction in this ever evolving and changing world. Holly has proven skills in HR Management and feels that the organisational vision is not only something that should be applied in schools, but everywhere. Learning is continuous and Holly aims to ensure staff at Matrix have access to resources and the training they require when they require it. Holly’s passion for HR has allowed Matrix to ensure staff welfare is paramount, with learning and development at the forefront.

Holly’s experience in Quality Control has allowed Matrix to implement a robust Quality Management System, giving the company a cutting edge and ensuring quality is continually driven through the organisation and improved upon.
